Article: The
CybermarchTM
|
The
CyberMarchTM is a
national ozone air pollution study sponsored by
VISTANOMICS and researched by
students. The results of their environmental studies are
ultimately presented to their representatives in the U.S.
Congress.
Information is also e-mailed to the President of the United
States
and hand delivered to the captitol with the help of
students in the D.C. area.
This national event occurs each year in May during
National Clean Air Month. In the fall, this event will
occur in State Capitals throughout the United States.
Contact VISTANOMICS for help in
coordinating your state March.
Data collection is a year around process and not
isolated to the scheduled dates for the CyberMarches.
Please remember...ozone air pollution is a serious
health problem worldwide. Become part of the
solution.

On May 27, 1997 Senator Charles Robb of
Virginia met students on the steps of the U.S.
Capitol.
The students from Conner Elementary school in Manassas
Park, Virginia represented thousands of students nationwide
who had been gathering ozone data in the preceeding
months.
